Get involved Your School Edith's Hope partners with schools to help alleviate poverty in some of the poorest communities in Uganda. We are excited about partnering, empowering and providing the opportunity for local schools to make a difference to those in need.Explore below for more information about how your school can get involved.Book a speaker: If you would like to hear more about the work of Edith's Hope and how your school could change a community, please email [email protected] We'd love to come and share with you why we are so passionate about what we do. Send a team to Uganda: A great way for the local school to engage with poverty is to go on a trip. No amount of photos and talking will impact your school as much as sending a team to visit a community and to literally experience what life is like. Sending a team is so much more than just the people travelling. The whole school gets behind the team and can benefit from their first–hand experience.Fundraise a project: Either in connection with a team, or as a separate project, schools have helped Edith's Hope by raising crucial funds over Christmas and other times of the year. When connected with a team travelling out the school often get to see the all the hard work in action and take part in food distribution, teaching, family visits and more.Run Events: Why not run an event or campaign which your school can take part in. They can be anything from sponsored events, to raising awareness about specific needs.Connect with our vocational school: A school can connect by linking with one of our courses and supporting financially. Your school can take on the challenge of finding support for: A classroom Training teachers Buying school resources Supporting community projects If you want to find out more then we would love to come and meet you and speak about how we can work together, contact us here
