Community market selling various daily goods

In order to support these two vital projects we have developed 3 businesses, the profits from which go back into the work of Edith’s Hope in Uganda.

We have built a guesthouse in Ngora – Traveller’s Rest – that provides a high standard of accommodation for those visiting the region.

We have developed a community store – Mango View – providing supplies to local residents.

Finally, we have four residential lets, providing much needed affordable housing whilst also generating an income.

As well as providing financial support to other aspects of Edith’s Hope’s work, these businesses create jobs and pay wages, making a positive contribution to the local economy.

We currently raise 5% of our operating costs from our businesses, and want to see this grow to 20% by 2024.
